Being a listener of Worlasi from his UNCUT album, I can only say Worlasi actually went out of his comfort zone while he was creating this great piece of art: OUTERLANE.
Spirit Robot the first song off the project was easily comprehensive with the theme being staying original so you can remain relevant for a long time. One Ghana came as track 2 and as Spirit Robot was so easy to understand; Society appreciate only those who bring the big share to the table.
Stone the Ugly On it produced track came as track 3. This is where you begin to notice Worlasi is really out of his lane hence the name of the project; Outerlane.
If you need a love song for this valentine, Worlasi has got you covered on the track 4 with Mawena which he features singer Alee on. It was a mid tempo song which could set the right scene for your moment. If the drum face is there, you don't have to hit the sides to produce the sound though you will get sound: it is this Worlasi did on The Way I Move. Gbadam came in as track 6 on an Ugly On it produced beat. Trois which means three in French was the title of the 7th track off the project. He narrates his love life on this.
You want to talk to someone? Worlasi says Speak to me on track 8 which features singer Dede as he talks to his girlfriend on this one. Find out what he was talking about.
As hard as life may be, one needs to work hard everyday to overcome all obstacles and this was what Booze High talked about.
To the big question again. Worlasi: OUTERLANE, is it still worth listening to? The answer is Yes, the Outerlane Ep by Worlasi is a project worth listening to in 2020.
Worlasi is currently promoting his ten track album; WORLA (The man and the God), check it out below:
