Christians across the world are celebrating Palm Sunday today, it's a day set aside to mark the triumphant entry of Christ into Jarusalem as recorded in Mark chapter 11.
And many spread their clothes on the road, and others cut down leafy branches from the trees and spread them on the road. Then those who went before and those who followed cried out, saying
  “Hosanna!
‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’
Blessed is the kingdom of our father David
That comes in the name of the Lord!
Hosanna in the highest.
The day is well celebrated here in Ghana with most churches marching in town with music and waving palm fronds, it's an amazing scene to behold but unfortunately for most Christians that is where it ends, but there is a lesson that needs to be learnt.
Humility, I think it is rather ironic that people who are arrogant, narcissistic and egotistical parade around to tell the world about a saviour who was so loving that he gave his life to save others. A man who knew he would be killed where he was going but went anyway. Palm Sunday is a day to to reflect on the message of Humility preached through the life of Jesus and also make conscious efforts to exhibit such Humility.
Luke 19:39
And some of the Pharisees called to Him from the crowd, “Teacher, rebuke Your disciples.”
But He answered and said to them, “I tell you that if these should keep silent, the stones would immediately cry
Learn to give God the praise he deserves. I've heard a couple of Christians say we are here to give God praise because if we don't nothing else will but Christ makes us understand that even stones will give the Lord his praise if we don't.
Also find your position in this life, Jesus knew who he was and comfidently told the Pharisees what would happen if his followers kept quite but that can't be said for most of us. We can barely define who we are, talk off the power we posses but until you understand and appreciate who you are and the power you have, you will tossed around and bullied by even those weaker than you.
Finally, there is someone out there in bondage who is needed by God and He is sending you today to go and free them and if anyone should ask why tell them the Lord has need of them.
And remember, he who has sent you is with you to the end of days.
